Notable Amazon Review(s)

Great saw. I wasn't expecting too much since this is an electric saw, but was very pleasantly surprised at how well it cut. It's cutting ability compares favorable to my old Sears (Roper) 3.7 cubic inch gas powered saw with an 18 inch bar.

I used it to fell and cut up a 60 foot gum tree and it worked flawlessly for the whole job. When I first got it I ran it a bit and discovered it wasn't oiling the bar.

I emailed Sun Joe, and they got back to me quickly and said a technician would call. He did so the next day, and said the oil tube might be loose.

He said I was welcome to try to fix it, or I could send it back for a replacement. Since I wanted to get going on the tree I said I would try to fix it, so he sent me an exploded parts view by email. I opened the saw and was able to fix the problem.

The next day I used the saw to cut down the tree, and reported back to Sun Joe that it was working fine. There must have been some confusion because a new saw arrived in the mail the following day with a return authorization for the old saw. Clearly Sun Joe is there to help if you have any problem.
