Description
The Sun Joe® SWJ807E 2-in-1 convertible electric pole chain saw takes the danger and difficulty out of trimming your overgrown trees. Stand safely on solid ground and simply adjust the telescoping pole. Pole extends to 8.8 ft to gain up to 15 feet of overhead reach. This saw is fantastic. I was a bit skeptical after previous experience with electric saws, but it more than lived up to the challenge. I was able to cut anything from small branches to moderate sized limbs, then easily transition to chop them up for removal.
I have a gas chainsaw that I'd used previously but I don't foresee getting it out again except for large limbs. The Sun Joe SWJ807E replaces 99% of its functionality, adds the pole extension, and is MUCH easier to use.
The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because of the handle coming unattached while reaching some very high limbs. I should note that they were higher and at a steeper angle than the manual suggests reaching. However, I feel it could be attached more strongly. I did see warnings somewhere that excessive vibration, etc, could cause it to come loose. So at least I was prepared.
