Just pull the trigger and have power in your hands. I purchased the Ryobi RY40511 saw locally because I needed one that day. It is just what I need. It is light weight compared to the gas powered one and I can no longer use a pull start.
The Ryobi 40v is powerful enough for the work I need and I don't have to make a trip to the gas station and hardware store for 2 cycle oil when I want to use it, nor does it have to be winterized. It uses the same battery as the hedge trimmer and blower so I have 3 batteries which comes in handy.
Recently, we had a storm fell a tree on the house. The Ryobi RY40511 saw was powerful and light weight enough so standing on the roof de-limbing the tree to put tarps on was much safer. I found one thing that makes filling the bar oil chamber easy: fill a squeeze bottle with oil and there is much less mess than trying to fill it from a gallon jug. Love my saw!
